Chief People Officer
Jill Alarcon serves as DCGs chief people officer, bringing 14-plus years of experience in talent acquisition and human capital development across the public relations/communications, digital media/advertising, federal contracting, and healthcare industries. She plays an essential role in developing and managing DCG’s human resources to support strategic goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive business success. She is responsible for strategic HR planning, talent acquisition and management, employee engagement and relations, comprehensive benefits, compliance, and more.
Prior to joining DCG, Jill served as the director of human resources for a holding company under which she led HR for two small businesses: a full-service digital media agency and an online news publication. Leading up to that, she spent seven years supporting the recruitment of small to medium sized defense contractors in the D.C. area. She specializes in creating and implementing HR strategies in smaller organizations from the ground up, but her passion is connecting with people and supporting them as they flourish in their careers!
Jill lives in Maryland with her husband, Roberto, two young daughters, Luciana and Anabel, and their two Boston terrier/boxer mixes, Griffin and Cooper! When she has free time, you can find her working out in her basement doing strength training or at [solidcore]. She also enjoys cooking, baking (and, of course, eating!), and spending time with her extended family.
