Violence and terrorism tactics are continually evolving, requiring a collective effort to keep our communities safe. By staying proactive in recognizing the warning signs, we can make a significant impact in preventing potential threats and protecting those around us.
To raise awareness, DCG teamed up with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Blue Campaign and Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) to create three impactful films, each of which earned a 2025 AVA Digital Award.
Platinum AVA Digital Award Winners
The DHS Blue Campaign I Just Want it to Stop video was awarded a Platinum AVA Digital Award. The video seeks to increase awareness of how to identify the signs of human trafficking and respond appropriately to potential cases. This impactful video was also displayed at the DHS Center for Countering Human Trafficking 2025 Anti-Trafficking Symposium that the DCG team had the honor of helping organize. This remarkable event took place on January 15–16, 2025, and brought together federal, state, local, tribal, and community organizations, along with law enforcement experts, business professionals, and lived experience consultants. This event also equipped attendees with additional resources that are essential in the fight against human trafficking.
The DHS CP3 Get to Know Invent2Prevent (I2P) video was also awarded a Platinum AVA Digital Award! This video gives an informational overview of I2P. This experiential learning program empowers high school and college students to design, implement, and measure the success of creative solutions to prevent threats in their schools and communities.
Gold AVA Digital Award Winner
The DHS CP3 Voices of Resilience, My Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) Story video was honored with a Gold AVA Digital Award! This video features targeted violence and terrorism prevention practitioners who share their personal stories of how they ended up in this work. The TVTP program provides funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial governments; nonprofits; and institutions of higher education to establish or enhance capabilities to prevent targeted violence and terrorism. It is also the only federal grant program solely dedicated to helping local communities develop and strengthen their capabilities in this area.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication, creativity, and hard work in bringing these impactful projects to life. Their efforts not only earned awards but also contributed to raising awareness and providing valuable resources to combat some of our society’s most pressing challenges. Each video project reflected the passion and expertise our team brings to the table and their efforts toward making a difference.
