DCG is excited to announce our latest addition, Erin Kunkle, as our Director of Workforce Strategy and Development! In this role, Erin will spearhead workforce planning and development initiatives, aligning team strategies with our business objectives. She will focus on fostering staff growth and ensuring that our team’s expertise continues to thrive, helping us achieve both our current and future organizational goals.
Early in her career, she excelled in communication, training, project management, recruiting, business development, and human resources roles within the Aerospace and Defense industry. Since 2016, she has steadily advanced her career in the human resources world by moving into positions as a human resources manager, employee experience director, and vice president of corporate services.
Erin is dedicated to embracing challenges and driving meaningful change. In 2020, she graduated from Leadership Dayton, earned her Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional certification, and completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program, HR Executive Connect. In 2022, she was honored on the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.
As the daughter of an immigrant, Erin’s values have been shaped by her family’s experiences which instilled in her a deep commitment to giving back and investing in her community. She strives to balance her professional and philanthropic work and continues to serve as an advocate and ally in the Dayton community. In 2021, She became a board member of the Young Women’s Christian Association Dayton Chapter and currently serves as an executive board member and board chair.
Erin obtained her Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in English from Wright State University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Keller School of Management.
Beyond her impressive career and community contributions, Erin loves being the loudest mom on the sidelines as she cheers for her kids playing soccer, football, basketball and baseball. She also enjoys listening to live music and planning her next escape to her happy place — the beach!
